Wheel throwing is an incredible experience—it’s a fun, hands-on skill that’s as rewarding as it is challenging! Come ready to embrace the process, and enjoy a laid-back 2 hours with friends, a date, or even just some solo time to dive into your creative side. Let’s get messy, make memories, and see what beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces you can bring to life!
Your ticket covers all materials, instructor guidance, and the full experience (but it does not include food, drinks, or the firing of your pieces, which is optional).
The ticket is $70 per person, please purchase a ticket for each guest. Food and drinks are not included.
Our class is perfect for beginners and will cover:
An introduction to clay, pottery, and how to throw simple shapes on the wheel.
3+ lbs of clay to create basic forms like bowls or small vases.
All materials, tools, and equipment (including the wheel) are provided.
Firing is not included in the class, you get to choose what you’d like to do next.
During the class, you’ll have up to 2, maybe 3 attempts (time permitting and depending on your progress) to create pieces. At the end of the session, you’ll have the option to fire and finish any pieces for $10 each. If you decide not to keep or fire your work, no worries—you’ll still walk away with a fun, hands-on experience!
This class will be held at Casa La Rubia in Wynwood. Please arrive on time, we like to make the most of our time together. If you arrive after the introduction, unfortunately we will not be able to refund or reschedule your tickets.
