Of Course I Still Love You (OCISLY) Ceramics invites you, the modern nomad, to experience Miami like an artist, exploring the city's vibrant scene with a fresh perspective. Discover new restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels, and breweries while unleashing your inner artist.
We believe that art is everywhere, and that everyone can be an artist - so our mission is to connect people with art and inspiration in unexpected places.
how we got into it
It all started in the summer of 2020 with a broken handmade family heirloom that we fixed with the Japanese method of kintsugi (highlighting the imperfections with gold)
…as we put the pieces together, our curiosity about pottery began, and a few weeks later, our 1st wheel arrived in the mail. For months during lockdown, we would count the minutes to close our laptops and play with clay. Pottery (and the beach) is what kept us sane and joyful during that crazy year, which is why we decided to open a studio in our home and share this meditative art with others.
The name is a reference to a Space X ASDS (google it), and it seemed fitting to us. There is also a super weird music video.
We don’t have any association with either :)
We pop up.
Unfortunately, we lost our studio in the summer of 2024 - so now, MIAMI is our studio. We are like pottery/art gypsies that create our makeshift art studio all over the city — at restaurants and bars, at museums, parks, hotels — converting them into a third space for creatives and art curious locals.
Our Founders
Cristina and Adam took Pottery on as a hobby during the 2020 lockdown and became super passionate about Ceramics - so they decided to open a space where other creatives and anyone curious about Pottery could vibe and make art together.
Cristina grew up in the Dominican Republic. She is a Growth & Marketing Strategist with over 10 years of experience working with early-stage Startups, and corporate B2B. She is passionate about creating experiences that bring people together, building a community, and creating impact through disruptive technology and conscious entrepreneurship.
Adam is from Ohio but moved to Miami a few years ago. He is a UX UI Designer, with experience in software development, and many maaaany arts and crafts. Nowadays, most of his time is dedicated to creating beautiful pottery (ask us about his ceramic bongs!). He loves science. space and music.
