Watercolor Classes in April

from $60.00

Slow down, pick up a brush, and let your imagination lead the way. This three-part watercolor series is designed for beginners who want to explore watercolors in a relaxed, guided setting — no experience needed, just curiosity and an open mind.

Sign up for one session or collect all three. Each class stands on its own, but together they build a beautiful foundation in watercolor technique.

Class 1 — Home Sweet Home

Tuesday, April 7th · 7–9 PM

Close your eyes and think of a place that feels like you — a corner of your childhood home, a city you return to in your dreams, the face of someone who makes you feel safe. In this first session, you'll learn to translate memory into paint using wet-on-wet washes, soft gradients, and the quiet power of silhouette. We'll focus on smooth color blending, water control, and how a simple foreground can anchor the whole scene.

Class 2 — Still Life

Tuesday, April 14th · 7–9 PM

This week, we slow down and really look. Choose your subject — an object, a person, an animal, something sitting right in front of you — and paint it with intention. We'll dig into value, movement, and the satisfying texture of a dry brush stroke. This session is an invitation to let the details surprise you and let the inspiration just flow. No overthinking, just observation and paint.

Class 3 — Spring Scenes

Thursday, April 30th · 7–9 PM

Spring is almost behind us — what do you want to hold onto? A morning, a moment, a feeling you don't want to lose to summer. In our final session, you'll bring that memory to life on paper using glazing, proportion, and controlled layering to build color and depth. Think of it as a love letter to the season — painted in light, water, and everything that made these past few months yours.

✨ How It Works

  1. Register for one class or all three (save $15).

  2. Show up — all materials are provided, plus unlimited coffee and/or tea.

  3. Paint, breathe, and leave with something you actually made.

These classes are beginner-friendly and self-paced, with guided instruction throughout. No prior experience needed.
