UNDRBELLY x OCISLY presents: In Loving Memory Of
A Conversation & Grief Art-Making Evening
Wednesday, September 30 at 7pm
Grief doesn't follow a schedule, and it rarely asks permission. So as National Grief Awareness Month comes to a close, we're making space for it — out loud, together, and with our hands.
Join us for an evening exploring grief, death, and remembrance through presentations from our featured speakers, an audience Q&A, and hands-on grief art-making. Come as you are, with whatever you're carrying. There's no right way to grieve here, and no expectation to share more than you'd like.
Give yourself flowers while you're still breathing.
The Conversation
Birth & Death Worker Sukhpreet (Amuatama)
Artist, Curator, & Historian Heaven Jones
Moderated by Publisher, Writer & Editor Jasmine Respess
Two speakers who sit with beginnings and endings for a living will share how they hold grief, tend to the dying and the living, and keep memory alive. An open Q&A follows — bring your questions, your curiosities, and the things you haven't known how to ask.

Tier 2 — Sculpting with Air-Dry Clay - $60
Sculpt a tribute: a small home altar, a picture frame for a photo you love, or a candle holder for the light you keep lit. We are using Air-dry clay so your piece goes home with you the same night and

All materials and tools are provided. These are self-led experiences, though our team will be around to answer questions and share tips if you need them. Nothing needs to be perfect, permanent, or even finished — this is about the process, and about being in a room with people who understand.
We will provide some light bites and drinks, tea and coffee. You're welcome to BYOB as well.
