Wheel Throwing for Beginners — A Mindful Ceramics Experience in Miami
4 weeks · Sundays 2PM · Starting May 17, 2026
Discover one of the most grounding creative practices available — wheel throwing pottery. This beginner-friendly, small-group workshop in Miami is designed for anyone looking to slow down, disconnect from screens, and reconnect with something real.
Over four Wednesday evenings at El Studio (Miami), you'll learn the foundational skills of wheel throwing: centering clay, pulling walls, trimming, and glazing your finished pieces. But more than technique, you'll experience the meditative rhythm of working with your hands — a proven way to reduce stress, quiet the mind, and build presence.
Pottery is mindfulness in motion. Studies show that creative, tactile practices lower cortisol, support emotional regulation, and improve focus. Whether you're navigating burnout, looking for a screen-free hobby, or simply craving a weekly ritual that's just for you — this is it.
